This 10k Road races starts at New Dungeon Ghyll, passes Britannia Inn at 13:00ish before returning across Elterater Common for the 3 mile run back to New Dungeon.
"Rod Berry and his long suffering wife Dot, organisers of the famous Great Langdale Marathon, welcome all to celebrate the day of our national saint. With the emphasis on FUN, this undulating 10k out and back road run attracts both the seasoned veterans and those new to running alike. Now in it’s 12th year the race has grown in stature and numbers, attracting 500 runners last year.
The course is an out and back, slightly undulating route, along the Great Langdale Road. Starting at the Stickle Barn Pub, running to The Langdale Estate in Elterwater and returning to the Stickle Barn."
