Walking
Nestled in the very heart of the Lake District, our guests are spoilt for a choice of fantastic walks ranging from short, light strolls to extreme, high level fell walking.
The base of the Langdale Pikes can be reached by foot in 30 minutes. Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain at 3210ft, is within easy striking distance of our front door, making for an excellent day of walking. A 25 minute drive will take you to Helvellyn, England's third highest mountain at 3118ft, allowing the more daring walker to traverse the famous Striding Edge.
